About the event
Be among the first to welcome KSB back to her hometown library, at this free event, where the author first learned to love books. Join the other avid history and mystery (not to mention a bit of romance) buffs as KSB dives deep into her sometimes hilarious writer's journey to TANGLES. Her multi-award-winning debut novel centers on the Hanford Nuclear Reserve - the little known, but critical piece of the Manhattan Project. Hanford produced all the plutonium fuel for the bombs in the US arsenal, but the devastating result of that work is now the largest environmental disaster in the Western Hemisphere. The author will talk the craft behind her page-turning cross-genre tale - along with entertaining tidbits gained during her nine months of research. A robust Q&A will follow the 20-minute talk. Bring a pal. Copies of TANGLES available for purchase at the Sunset Valley B&N on Brodie Lane.
