The talented, Tennessee-raised, Leslie Schover launches (virtually) her debut novel, FISSION: A Novel of Atomic Heartbreak. "Quietly resonant", the story centers on the Oakridge Nuclear plant during WWII. Schover's family has direct ties to the trials and tribulations of the time and locale. Secrecy plays a large part in the plot (similar to TANGLES) but Schover's relatable characters show the reader daily life in those times could be seemingly normal, but treacherous.
